New AI image and video generator are popping up like mushrooms

Existing AI image and video generators are improving at an incredible speed. At the same time, we have new image and video tools popping up practically weekly, like mushrooms. 🍄🍄

Let’s go. It’s a wild ride.

Adobe Premiere Pro adds new beta features that include AI-driven audio editing capabilities.

Amazon has added AI image (or art as they call it) generation into their Fire TV. If you have the Fire stick, you can now create your own AI-generated background images by using prompting.

Divi WordPress theme is pushing out more AI features. The latest updates include AI image enhancements similar to Photoshop Gen. fill, expand, and the like. These are paid additions, and not included with Divi theme purchase.

RunwayML released Multi Motion Brush gives us more control across 3 directional axes and ambient noise! Let’s go.

Midjourney v6 will soon, as early as next week, add Zoom, pan, and vary region into the mix (yes). Also, they are working on bringing us consistent styles (before consistent characters), which I think is fantastic. Here’s the office hours recap.

Consistent Characters

I tested Face Lock by RenderNet this week. Upload a reference image, select a model and Lora, and finish with a prompt before generating the new image.

Here’s an example, and you can see the full writeup about it here on X.

RenderNet also has Controlnet feature to lock in the post of the character. Free trial lets you try it out.

I tested Krea AI upscaler and enhancer this week. It is currently free to use.
