Midjourney v5 Features Now in v6, Lumiere Video Gen and Experiments

This week flew by with some new things I’m working on -more later. Meanwhile, new AI developments keep rolling in.

Here’s what went on this week in the creative AI side of things. Plus some personal AI adventures.

Google research announced Lumiere, a AI model for video generation that looks to be far better than anything we have right now - high consistency, creative control, inpainting, style cloning and more! View the demos here.

Lumiere is not available yet, and there is no release date at this time.

2024 is going to be HUGE for AI video advancements!

Leonardo AI is released an Universal Upscaler that looks fantastic. Take a look at this sneak peek from Max on X. I can’t wait to play with this.

Midjourney v6 now has new/old features: zoom, pan, and vary region.
Note. Vary region is not (yet) available on the alpha website.

Alpha website with image generation is now open to all Midjourney members who have created more than 5,000 images. Check it out, it’s great.

Midjourney is working on consistent style feature “reference style”. It should be released fairly soon. Here’s the office hours recap.

An Experiment?

I love to run tests and experiments. So, I’m thinking about running a TikTok experiment - to see if I can get an account to go viral with AI generated images/video. What do you think? Would this interest you?

Basically, I document what I do, my observations, what works and what doesn’t, etc.

P.S. I did a similar experiment on LinkedIn a few year’s ago and created not one, but 3 viral LI articles. I shared my workflow after the fact. This would be real-time. Once a week updates. Right here (or maybe somewhere else).
